By March 24, 2016January 30th, 2017No Comments

You’re invited to celebrate World Water Day 2016 with IslandWood and King County!

Saturday, March 26
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Brightwater Center
22509 State Route 9 S.E.
Woodinville

Explore the world of water — how we use it, what we do to it and what that means for the world we live in. We’ll have activities for all ages including art projects, outdoor exploration and science experiments.

We’ll also have adult and family tours of the treatment plant, and more.

While you’re there…scoop all the GroCo Compost you need to turn your dirt around!
You bring the vehicle, we’ll bring the shovels, bags, and the GroCo compost made with Loop. Each person will have 15 minutes to scoop some compost, while supplies last. Employees will be on hand to assist you – please bring a tarp to cover your load.

Pack a lunch, bring a friend and enjoy a day of celebration and learning. Pre-register online to reserve your spot to this fun free event.
