Brightwater Center earns a rave review on Trip Advisor

One of the best things about operating a clean-water facility is hearing what visitors say about their experience, which is why we were thrilled to come across this recent review of Brightwater Center on Trip Advisor:

The grounds surrounding the Brightwater complex are beautiful with miles of walking trails. This is a wonderful tour and something out of the ordinary. Another plus is that it is free. I don’t think people are aware of the public tours or I would think our tour group would have been maxed out. You won’t be disappointed touring Brightwater and you will never think about sewage and toilets the same way again.

With trails and habitat open daily dawn to dusk, and a LEED PlBrightwater_Centeratinum-certified community center that offers free all-ages educational programs as well as event space rentals, Brightwater Center is a destination the whole family will enjoy.

In addition to Brightwater, our other treatment plants also connect people to education, art and open space.

WTD offers free tours and educational programming at the South Treatment Plant in Renton and oversees the nearby WaterWorks Gardens Park, which is open daily dawn to dusk. And we partner with Seattle Parks to manage the Discovery Park beach and lighthouse areas next to West Point Treatment Plant in Seattle.
